I am the Central Halifax PCN Clinical Director and Operational Clinical Lead for PGPA. I am extremely fortunate to lead Central Halifax practices, as their Clinical Director, utilising our key strengths to ensure a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of the population of Central Halifax. Our key strengths are teamwork, a desire to innovate and a passion to make a change and I am confident that going forward these will prove fundamental in the impact achieved for our population. As a GP Partner for 6 years at Spring Hall Group Practice and a founding director of PGPA, I am passionate about innovation and delivery, seeing projects through from conception to delivery. With my colleagues at PGPA I energetically support PGPA in delivering its mission and as clinical lead I ensure that the interests of our members, patients, and communities served by the organisation are at the heart of all we do.
I am a GP appraiser and feel it is important to support GP’s to ensure they are able to provide the highest quality of patient care. To develop this further I am currently becoming a GP trainer, and I look forward to supporting and developing new GP’s as the future workforce of General Practice. I love teaching, training and sharing my experience and skills with my practice community and wider. Hence my leadership role in our previous Active Care Navigation Programme and acting as clinical lead for our Extended Access and Health Checks programmes
