Session Title
This session will explore how collaborative working between general practice and community pharmacy can support the delivery of a successful "left shift" in patient care. Drawing on real-world examples, the presentation will highlight how strong professional relationships, shared objectives, and effective communication have enabled services to be delivered in the most appropriate setting, improving patient access and making better use of the skills within both sectors.
Attendees will hear practical examples of joint working initiatives, lessons learned from implementation, and the opportunities that exist when community pharmacy and general practice work together as integrated partners. The session will provide insights into overcoming barriers, building trust, and creating sustainable models of collaboration that benefit patients, practices, and pharmacy teams alike.
