This session presents a live NHS pathway, using a dedicated virtual first consultation dedicated teledermatology solution that permits image capture and upload from home, primary care and now community pharmacy to deliver consultant-reviewed outcomes within 48 hours, without a hospital appointment. In month one, 70% of patients were removed from the urgent suspected cancer pathway demonstrating that a scalable dermatology model can shift specialist assessment quicker and closer to home, with the help of community pharmacy.
