Session Title
A new era of community prescribing: From pathfinder to practice at scale
Description
Following evaluation of the Independent Prescribing Pathfinder programme, a new national independent prescribing framework will enable pharmacists to prescribe for clinical services, such as long-term conditions and minor illnesses. This marks a pivotal shift for primary care. This session will explore how independent prescribing can move from pathfinder to mainstream practice – creating a genuinely collaborative, mutually beneficial model that works for pharmacists, GPs, nurses and the patients they serve.
