Susie began her School Nursing career in 1997 as a staff nurse in a special needs school, where she spent several years before moving into mainstream school nursing. She completed her SCPHN School Nurse qualification in 2003 and has since held a wide range of roles, including School Nurse, team lead, lead for special needs teams, School Nurse practice teacher, school-age immunisation lead, and Clinical Lead for School Nursing. Her career has taken her across both London and the East Midlands.
She is proud to hold the title of Queen’s Nurse, and is feels honoured and privileged to now work as Professional Officer for SAPHNA, where she continues to champion the School and Public health workforce.
