Anupama is a Consultant Rheumatologist , Osteoporosis and FLS lead at Basildon hospital and Visiting Associate Professor at Anglia Ruskin University. She is Co-TPD Rheumatology for East of England and Deputy lead for Rheumatology curriculum. She is the lead for Physician associate students at the Mid and South Essex NHS trust. She is member of the Education committee for British Society of Rheumatology and Expert adviser for NICE.

She trained in the North Thames London deanery and has been consultant for more than 10 years. Her special interests include osteoporosis, axial spondylarthritis and medical education. She has presented in both national and international conferences. She actively participates in clinical research.
