Liz is passionate about improving the care of allergies in primary care and across the system.
She has worked in an adult allergy tertiary unit for 11 years and was a lead author on GP with extended role (GPwER) framework – BSACI
She recently led on the adrenaline guidance for primary care Adrenaline auto‐injector prescription for patients at risk of anaphylaxis: BSACI guidance for primary care – Angier – 2023 – Clinical & Experimental Allergy. Publications include Elizabeth Angier (researchgate.net).
She has been involved with multiple guidelines nationally and internationally and regularly talks at conferences. She is a PhD candidate looking at a digital intervention for self-management for young people with food allergies at risk of anaphylaxis sponsored by the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation at Southampton. She is closely involved with patient charities, the British Association of Allergy and Clinical Immunology( BSACI ), and the European Association( EAACI).
