John has worked in health and social care settings for 27 years. He has worked for the Huntington's Disease Association since 2014, initially as a Specialist Adviser, providing advice and support to families impacted by Huntington's disease and to the professionals supporting them. In 2023 John became Education Lead, organising training and learning opportunities for professionals and for Huntington's disease family members, with the aim of improving care and support by promoting greater knowledge and understanding of Huntington’s disease.
