Dr Ketan Patel is a consultant respiratory and integrated care physician working at St Bartholomew's Hospital in London, where he supports the integrated respiratory service and leads the respiratory virtual ward for Tower Hamlets. Dr Patel completed his postgraduate respiratory training in Sussex and spent 3 years in Birmingham completing his MD and research focusing on Integrated care and COPD management in GP practices. Dr Patel is actively involved in community COPD research and has presented his work on integrated COPD care internationally and published his work in Thorax and PLOS One.
