Professor Carroll is a clinician, researcher and educator with more than 20 years’ experience as a consultant and more than 100 peer-reviewed publications. He has a particular interest in adherence to treatments and childhood asthma. He is editor in chief of the educational journal, Paediatrics and Child Health (whose content can be accessed by all BMA members through the BMA library) and co-author of several textbooks including a fairly well-known and much used paediatric textbook, the Illustrated Textbook of Paediatrics.
