Siobhan Jones is the UK’s first Headache Nurse Consultant, working at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. She qualified as a registered nurse in 2004 and has since specialised in neurosciences and headache care. Siobhan holds an MSc in Clinical Management of Pain and Headache from the University of Edinburgh, with published work in the British Journal of Neuroscience Nursing. She plays a national leadership role as Chair of the RCN Neuroscience Forum and Honorary Advisor to the British Association for the Study of Headache (BASH). Siobhan plays a central role in Clinical Governance for the headache service in Cumbria and is undertaking a PhD at Newcastle University, focusing on migraine research and advancing headache services across the UK.
