Dr Rosie Shire is an experienced GP with special interests in adult ADHD and women’s health. She helped develop a pioneering NHS Primary Care-based Adult ADHD service, working as a GPwER providing assessment and treatment for adults. She also established a Child–Adult ADHD clinic to support young people transitioning into adult services and shared care. She delivers training on adult ADHD for healthcare professionals across the UK and is committed to improving support for GP trainees with ADHD, including dedicated training for GP trainers.
Her focus is on providing evidence-based, accessible information to support clinicians in everyday practice and empower patients. She is a strong advocate for General Practice, sitting on the Doctors’ Association UK GP Committee, and is Resident GP and Presenter at Mix56 Radio.
