Dr Mona Ghadiri-Sani completed her medical degree at Bart’s and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, including an intercalated Neuroscience BSc. Her initial training was based in London, including a neurology rotation The Royal London Hospital.
Dr Ghadiri-Sani moved to the The Walton Centre for neurology training and has been a consultant since 2017. She has a specialist interest in headache disorders, particularly migraine and Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH). She is currently the headache lead and runs two refractory headache clinics per week, as well as Botox and nerve block injection clinics.
Dr Ghadiri-Sani also manages patients with neuro-behcet (particularly their headache disorders) as part of the national Behcet service at the Aintree University Hospital.
