Dr Bennett Quinn has been a GP in Wirral for more years than he cares to admit, working with colleagues in a deprived area in Wirral.
He completed a PhD with the University of Chester on a topic related to the diagnosis of mental health problems in primary care.
He has been bestowed with the title of Visiting Professor by the University of Chester; he teaches regularly on their Physician Associate program and is currently supervising three MSc students and one PhD student.
He also sits on a Home Office steering group supporting mental health assessments of those granted resettlement rights in the UK and asylum seekers.
