Mr. Jake Arbuckle is the Director of International Health Recruitment Programs with the New Brunswick Government. He is responsible for the International Health Recruitment Strategy and leads international health recruitment partnerships. He oversees client service navigation support and funding programs for internationally educated healthcare professionals.
Previously, Mr. Arbuckle served as Director of Health Workforce Planning with the New Brunswick Government and was responsible for monitoring health workforce supply and demand, supporting full scope of practice and appropriate skill mix, and developing recruitment and retention strategies. Before joining the Department of Health, he managed the province’s skilled worker immigration and foreign qualification recognition programs.
Mr. Arbuckle is committed to ethical recruitment and chairs a national committee on internationally educated healthcare professionals.
