Paula is the Regional Clinical Director across the North of England at Primary Care Physio, the leading national provider of First Contact Practitioner (FCP) physiotherapy, podiatry and occupational therapy services. With over 30 years of experience, she holds an MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy, alongside additional qualifications in injection therapy and non-medical prescribing. She is responsible for overseeing the quality and delivery of FCP services across the region, leading a team of more than 100 highly skilled physiotherapists and healthcare professionals. Paula also provides training, mentorship and strategic support to ensure clinical excellence and high levels of patient satisfaction.

Alongside her leadership responsibilities, Paula practises as an Advanced Practitioner Physiotherapist and clinical mentor, delivering expert assessment and treatment for patients with complex and chronic conditions. She is committed to advancing the profession through education and knowledge-sharing, having authored four books and numerous articles on topics including running injuries, back pain, arthritis and diabetes. Her mission is to support individuals in improving their health and wellbeing through evidence-based physiotherapy and effective self-management strategies.
