Dr Ali is lead for advanced kidney care services at BTHFT. He is the secondary care placement lead for year 1-5 medical students at the University of Leeds.
He is a Honorary senior lecturer at the University of Leeds.
Previously he was clinical lead and consultant nephrologist at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust.
He is a member UK Kidney Association and American Society of Nephrology
His interests include Acute kidney injury, Chronic kidney disease, glomerular disease and medical education.
He is a Honorary senior lecturer at the University of Leeds.
