Dr David Crocker is an Associate Specialist in Psychiatry and the founder and Clinical Director of Caledonian Psychiatry, the first independent medical agency in Scotland to be registered and regulated by Healthcare Improvement Scotland. He has worked in adult psychiatry since 2018, latterly in urgent and unscheduled care across NHS Fife and NHS Lothian, and is an Approved Medical Practitioner under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003. Since moving wholly into independent practice in 2023 he has undertaken over 5,500 neurodevelopmental assessments and follow-up appointments, with a particular focus on adult ADHD and autism, medication management, and shared care with GPs. Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, he brings clinical and lived experience to the subject.
