Dr Iqra Ahmed is a GP Specialty Trainee (ST3) undertaking training in South East London, where she has lived since her teenage years. She graduated from St George's, University of London in 2021 and completed her Foundation Programme across Colchester. She has a strong interest in improving healthcare for underserved and marginalised communities, with a particular focus on health inequalities and mental health. This presentation was inspired by her experience during an HIV rotation in her GPST2 year, which highlighted the important role of primary care in recognising HIV and improving opportunities for timely diagnosis and patient care.
