Professor Nadim Haboubi MD Birmingham, FRCP Edinburgh and London, is Professor of Clinical Nutrition and Obesity at the University of South Wales and has served as a Consultant Physician at Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny, South Wales since 1991. With a specialist interest in gastroenterology, nutrition and obesity, he is recognised nationally and internationally as a Fellow of both the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) and the Specialist Certification of Obesity Professional Education (SCOPE). Professor Haboubi also advised the Welsh Government on its first Obesity Pathway, is Chairman of the Welsh Obesity Society, and is a member of the Association of Physicians for the Study of Obesity (APSO UK).
