Jonny is a GP and Public Health Consultant, working in Ringland as a GP since 2021, an area formerly built for the Llanwern steelworks in the 50s, where around 75% of patients live in some of the most disadvantaged areas in Wales.
Jonny is interested in how community services can better and more equitably respond to community need through partnership, shift to prevention and public involvement. He co-founded 19 Hills CIC, a non-for-profit in his GP practice area in 2024 to bring investment to support service integration, social and wellbeing activities and promote community engagement in service planning for an integrated health and wellbeing centre locally.
