Dr Archana Rao is a Consultant Dermatologist and has trained in dermatology and dermatosurgery at Imperial College, London, as well as overseas. She is a recipient of a gold medal for her studies on the dermatoscope on ethnic skin, and has been awarded five scholarships by the European Academy of Dermatology and the European Hair Research Society, including one which invited her to Bologna for advanced training in hair loss. She is an invited lecturer at national and international meetings with over 50 papers to her credit, has acclaimed research contributions in frontal fibrosing alopecia and her advice on a range of skin and hair topics have been quoted in national and international press.
