Dr Varun Anand is a portfolio GP in Hull. He graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2012 and completed Academic Foundation Training in the East Midlands. He completed Academic GP Training in 2018 with a Masters in Primary Care. He is a Diplomate of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine since 2019 and former chair of the RCGP Nutrition and Lifestyle Special Interest Group.
Dr Anand is a Physical Activity Clinical Champion for Yorkshire and Humber, Bupa Health Assessments GP and also works with the Public Health Team at Hull City Council delivering weight management training to healthcare professionals. In his spare time, Varun enjoys playing cricket when he is not busy with his young family!
