Dr Becky Howie is a General Practitioner and GP appraiser based in Lanarkshire. She is a clinical lead for Digital diabetes remission project in Scotland and Medical Director at Lanarkshire private clinic. She is a certified lifestyle medicine physician, focusing on the impact of lifestyle choices on health, longevity and overall well-being.

Dr Howie adopts a holistic, person-centred approach to healthcare, emphasising the significance of lifestyle modifications in conjunction with medical treatments to enhance health and well-being. Additionally, she is trained as a transformational coach, a skill she utilises to assist patients in effecting meaningful changes in their health.

Dr Howie has a special interest in women's health and menopause. She actively participates in the Scottish Government's National Menopause Network.
