Dr Helen Sherrey qualified as a GP in 2012 and has specialist extended roles in sexual health, women’s health, and psychosexual medicine. She works across both primary and secondary care, including GUM services and the GP federation women’s health service.
Helen delivers undergraduate and postgraduate education, including as GP module lead at Queen’s University/GP subdeanery, and is a qualified trainer for CSRH, IPM, and BASHH. She has presented nationally and internationally and hold various roles on boards for BASHH and CSRH. She is committed to advancing education for healthcare professionals in sexual health and promoting the importance of holistic sexual healthcare.
