After qualifying from Queen’s University Belfast in 1999, I spent 18 years in community pharmacy, building a strong foundation in medicines management, patient counselling, and frontline care. I completed my Independent Prescribing PGCert in 2014 and began working alongside GP colleagues before being appointed Lead General Practice Pharmacist (GPP) for the East Antrim Federation in 2017.
I provide clinical leadership across primary care, with a specialist interest in diabetes, hypertension, and CV risk reduction. My current focus is a master’s research project exploring how to improve the management of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), reflecting my commitment to evidence-based care and long-term condition management
