Beverley Bostock works as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in long-term conditions in general practice in Gloucestershire and is an independent prescriber. She has a special interest in long-term conditions, specifically diabetes, chronic kidney disease, cardiovascular disease, heart failure and the management of comorbidities including asthma and COPD.  Bev has developed and delivered accredited modules in cardiorenal metabolic disease for many years. She has taken part in various national CVD, BP and lipid optimisation advisory groups and has published a range of articles on the management of long-term conditions. She is a regular speaker at conferences around the UK and is President Elect of the Primary Care Cardiovascular Society. Beverley is Editor-in-Chief of Practice Nurse and has been a Queen’s Nurse since 2015, a title awarded to nurses who have demonstrated a strong commitment to high-quality, person-focused care
