Lisa Daniels is an extraordinary individual whose lifelong dedication to maternal and child health has transformed lives in Lambeth and beyond. Born and raised in the borough, she has spent over 20 years serving her community with compassion and integrity. As a melanin neurodivergent mother with visible and non-visible disabilities, Lisa brings invaluable lived experience to her role as a Community Staff Nurse in health visiting. Her work supporting the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme includes health promotion, surveillance, and tailored support for families with children under five. Yet, Lisa’s approach goes far beyond routine care, she meets families where they are, builds trust, and ensures their unique needs are heard and respected. She is especially committed to addressing health inequalities in underserved communities, using her insight to challenge systemic barriers and advocate for more inclusive and equitable healthcare. Lisa is not only a nurse but also an advocate, role model, and emerging leader. Her passion and determination inspire colleagues, families, and the wider community.
