Simon Browes is the Regional Director for the Royal College of Nursing in the North West of England. Simon has a diverse clinical and leadership background, having worked across community services, primary care, mental health and inclusion, both in the UK and internationally. He has held senior roles as a Consultant Nurse, Clinical Senior Lecturer, Director of Nursing and Clinical Director before joining the RCN. Simon brings a reflective and relational approach to professional leadership, and is a passionate advocate for person-centred practice, professional leadership, equity and inclusion. At the RCN, he champions the voice of nursing in policy and practice, and works closely with members to ensure nursing expertise shapes the future of health and care.
