Morven is a Cardiology Specialist Nurse with extensive experience across clinical practice, education, audit and service improvement. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of cardiovascular settings, from acute care to primary care, and has played a central role in establishing, developing and delivering nurse-led services, including post-myocardial infarction, rapid access chest pain and atrial fibrillation clinics.
Morven is passionate about sharing knowledge and supporting others to learn, whether through educating patients, teaching healthcare professionals, or contributing to programmes within further education, higher education and NHS Education for Scotland. Her national experience includes work with the Scottish National Cardiac Audit Programme and the British Heart Foundation, where she has supported innovation, quality improvement and service development. Her particular interests include cardiovascular prevention, risk factor management, and working in partnership with patients to co-design services and support informed involvement in their own care.
