I qualified as a nurse in 1985 at Lewisham school of nursing. I have mainly worked in primary care in London, I worked in different general practices, homeless and refugee teams, sexual health and teaching nursing and health care since 2016. I have 2 masters 1 in medical anthropology, and 1 in public health. I did public health at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine which provides an international perspective I have also worked overseas in aid programmes in Romania, Cambodia, East Timor and Tajikistan and brief times in Pakistan and Kenya.
I currently teach advanced practice, physical examination, public health and minor illness. I have experience in managing minor illnesses such as skin conditions, and long term conditions such as diabetes, asthma and COPD. I also teach pharmacology and prescribing for some of the modules. I published some articles on B12 management in 2020.

I am interested in improving nutrition knowledge to nurses and have a better understanding of role of nutrition to public health.
