Elli has worked as both Lead and Clinical Nurse Specialist in breast care in the NHS including working in breast clinical trials, encompassing 25 years - Over 10 years in breast screening originally setting up the screening Breast Care Nurse service at her NHS Trust.

Her roles have involved supporting those affected by breast cancer and their families across both cancer and benign pathways.

Elli works with many teams at Breast Cancer Now on various issues relating to breast screening and breast awareness including leading the Health Care Professionals breast screening champions group, consulting on health information while maintaining up to date knowledge to support service users utilising our services including Moving Forward, the helpline and Ask Our Nurse service.

Elli is passionate in encouraging people to be breast aware and seek advice if they notice a breast change and to attend their routine screening mammograms to promote early detection.

Elli has a specialist interest in breast screening and awareness for under-represented groups particularly those with learning disabilities and champions that everyone should be able to access breast services equally.
