Dr Shanker Vijay serves as London’s GP Lead for Digital Transformation (Primary Care) at NHS England (London). Additionally, he is a Digital/IT lead in North West London ICB. His extensive management experience includes working at the Board level in both Commissioning and Provider organisations.

In his London role, Shanker is involved in a wide range of varied workstreams, which currently include AI/Automation, Pharmacy First, Online registration, Online consultations, and NHS App. Previous transformational projects include Community & Intermediate care and NHS 111 & Urgent care.
