Dr Matea Deliu combines frontline clinical practice with senior digital health leadership across the NHS. As an academic GP working in primary care, community services, and acute medicine at Guy's and St Thomas', she brings patient-facing experience to her roles as Chief Clinical Information Officer at Bromley Healthcare and Clinical Lead for Digital Delivery at SEL ICB — spanning clinical safety, technology evaluation and implementation, and policy for digital and AI-enabled tools. She serves as Expert in Residence at London Business School, mentor on the NHS Innovation Accelerator, and primary care lead within the Responsible AI UK Health and Social Care working group. She holds a PhD in Health Informatics and maintains that safe, scalable innovation demands clinical credibility and systems-level thinking.
