Established in 1964 AMSPAR performs two functions. It is a professional membership organisation which recognises both formal qualifications and length of service in a healthcare environment. We also work with City & Guilds / ILM to provide a suite of qualifications for non-clinical staff working in the health sector. It provides a range of services to its members including access to a free legal helpline. Members are kept informed of issues through E newsletters and website.
