I’m a GP partner at Bridges Medical Practice in Gateshead, where I’ve worked since 2014 after initially contracting for a single locum session. I qualified as a GP in 2008 whilst serving in the UK military and left service in 2013 due to family commitments, spending the intervening year working a salaried post at Claypath in Durham City and locuming around the north of England.

Outside the surgery, I’m a keen runner, albeit not a particularly fast one. I was elected Vice-Chairman in April 2018 and Chairman in January 2019.
