Deema is a Legal Director in the Real Estate team and is the lead contact at the Leeds and Manchester offices for GP practices. She specialises in advising public and private healthcare clients including NHS Trusts, Integrated Care Boards and GP Practices on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.

Deema understands the commercial challenges faced by GPs as well as understanding the relationship with commissioners and the regulatory environment in which practices operate to advise GP practices on all aspects of property work. Deema has extensive experience in advising GP clients on new surgery developments, leases, regularisation of GP practice premises, refinancing, acquisitions and disposals of GP Practices including sale and leasebacks and grant funding agreements under the Premises Costs Directions. She also regularly advises on the property aspects of corporate acquisitions and disposals of GP Practices working collaboratively with the firm’s Primary Care Corporate team.

Deema has attended and spoken at a number of Primary Care events and webinars on all GP property matters and is a regular speaker at the Manchester Management In Practice.
