Gurnak is a GP with a portfolio career spanning across clinical, leadership and advisory roles. He is the Deputy CCIO for LLR ICB, and Chair of the Midlands CXIO Community of Practice, where he is at the forefront of digital transformation in healthcare. He is also a GP Peer Ambassador. Driven by a commitment to reducing health inequalities, Gurnak is passionate for creating a healthcare system where digital advancements become tools for closing the gap in existing disparities. He believes that technology, when designed and implemented with purpose, has the potential to empower patients, improve access to care, and deliver equitable health outcomes. Central to his ethos is the principle that patients must remain at the heart of any transformation.
