With a background spanning The King’s Fund, the Cabinet Office, and LSE, Martin brings deep system-level expertise to primary care. As an associate with Altogether Better he is leading pioneering work to tackle service generated health inequalities in primary care.
He has worked with General Practices for over 30 years. In London, he co-directed the original Darzi Programme and ran the Next Generation CEOs Programme.
He excels at practical system change, having designed West London’s innovative Connected Care for Children project transforming collaboration between citizens, GPs, and paediatricians to significantly improve outcomes.
He also developed the service integration strategy across East London. He speaks widely at conferences and publishes intermittently co-authoring the influential guide to organisational change, "Tools for Change."
