Peter Wilson is an experienced leader and healthcare manager with over 25 years of service in the British Army, retiring as a Captain. His military career encompassed people management, finance, auditing, training, and leadership development, alongside qualifications as a Weapons Coach and Workplace Mediator. He holds a degree earned through distance learning and has completed postgraduate study in Leadership and Strategic Management.
Since joining the NHS, Peter has held both Practice Manager and PCN Manager roles and is currently Practice Manager of a GP practice in Blackpool. Passionate about compassionate leadership, personal development, and sharing best practice, he advocates for greater consistency across GP practices to support high-quality care and regulatory excellence. Outside work, Peter enjoys travel, golf, conservation, and dog breeding.
