Rhys Lewis is Director for Digital and Intelligence at One Care (BNSSG), where he leads digital transformation, analytics and innovation across general practice and the wider health system. He has extensive experience providing strategic leadership across complex change programmes that improve operational performance, strengthen data and intelligence capabilities, and support the effective use of technology across NHS services. Rhys has a strong understanding of primary care, system working and the wider NHS landscape. His work focuses on connecting frontline priorities with practical delivery, helping organisations move from ideas into implementation through strong partnerships, clear direction and a collaborative approach. At One Care, Rhys has led a number of major programmes, including work to support neighbourhood-based models of care, the development of population health management approaches and analytics, one of the UK’s largest primary care AI pilots, and a broader digital portfolio supporting long-term improvement in general practice. He works closely with practices, system partners, universities and industry to explore how digital tools, analytics and AI can support more proactive, efficient and equitable care. Rhys is particularly interested in the future of neighbourhood health, digital transformation in integrated care, and the role of AI and innovation in supporting NHS staff and improving patient experience.
