I have worked as a GP in a vibrant, multicultural Bristol practice for the past 19 years—initially as a Partner and now as a Clinical Lead. My route into general practice was a scenic one, taking me through Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as roles as a Ship’s Doctor and a Medical Officer in the RAF. I now have a portfolio career that includes Medical Education, serving as a Training Programme Director for Bristol GP Education, and Medical Politics, having recently stepped down as Chair of Avon LMC while continuing my work as a member of GPC England. Outside of work, I am usually acting as taxi driver for my three children, but my real passion is going to see live theatre.
