Sara began her mental health nursing career in 2000 based in the northeast of England and over the last 25 years has had the pleasure of nursing in a number of clinical areas including, Adult acute inpatient, Community mental health teams, Prison/offender health. Liaison and diversion, addictions and complex presentations and in adult and child neurodevelopmental services, as a specialist nurse and non medical prescriber. Sara was diagnosed with ADHD aged 39, a journey triggered by her children’s diagnosis. leaving the NHS in 2021 she alongside her partner developed divergence, a business with a purpose/CIC, whose goal as a CQC registered service and ADHD World Federation affiliate is to improve accessibility to assessment, diagnosis and treatment for ADHD and associated conditions.
