Dr. M Mansoor is a GP partner and the Respiratory Clinical Lead for the River and Wolds Primary Care Network, with over two decades of NHS experience. He has led transformative initiatives in respiratory care, driving innovation and improving outcomes at scale.
As Clinical Lead for the Path to FeNO project, he spearheaded one of the largest NHS-funded initiatives delivering enhanced asthma diagnostics across 37 Primary Care Networks significantly improving patient care. His leadership was recognised with a Highly Commended award at the 2023 National Healthcare Business Awards.
Dr. Mansoor is also the Children and Young People’s Asthma Lead for Humber and North Yorkshire ICB. His innovative approach to COPD care, particularly through the RESPiRe group education and self-management programme, was honoured at the 2024 National GP Awards, where he received the Clinical Improvement in Long-Term Conditions award.
He works collaboratively with secondary care teams to strengthen the interface between primary and secondary services, streamline pathways, enhance diagnostics, and promote best practices in respiratory health. His passion for innovation and service development continues to deliver meaningful change across the healthcare system.
In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Mansoor is a GP trainer and a tutor at Hull York Medical School. He also serves on the Education Committee of the Primary Care Respiratory Society (PCRS), contributing to national education and policy initiatives in respiratory care.
Outside of medicine, he is a proud father of two and an keen long-distance road cyclist.
