Dr Poppy Freeman has worked as a GP in London since 2008 with the majority of her time spent working with homeless and marginalised groups. She was a member of the Camden CCG Commissioning Board from 2010-2012.
Alongside clinical work she has focused on developing digital applications to support clinical communication between primary and secondary care. She won the RCGP GP Enterprise Award in 2012, and her work in setting up the Camden GP Website was recognised by the UXUK Award as the Best Public Sector Website 2017. The GP Website now serves over 200 practices across North Central London.
In 2020 she set up a Covid-19 Website which was adopted by Pulse in 2021. She is a Director of Medindex, a company which supplies clinical communications systems to ICBs and third sector organisations. She continues to work as a clinical advisor for Pulse.
