Richard is a pharmacist by training and leads the development, rollout, and oversight of all NHS, locally commissioned and Private Clinical services across the Asda Pharmacy estate. He provides strategic leadership for vaccination delivery, driving the scale and impact of Flu, Covid, Meningitis and other immunisation programmes. He also led the Childhood Flu vaccination pilot in 2025.

Richard works in close partnership with key stakeholders in the NHS, primary care, local authority, suppliers and manufacturers to shape collaborative, system-wide approaches that improve access and update across the nation. He is passionate about positioning community pharmacy as a key delivery partner in preventative healthcare, using data-led insights, innovation and strong clinical governance to deliver high quality services that support the communities we serve.
