Chris Reid is the Chief Place and Transformation Officer for NHS Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Cluster Integrated Care Board.

A GP for more than 20 years, Chris began his medical career as a Medical Officer with the Royal Marines before going on to work across Dorset, New Zealand, and Cornwall. During his time in rural Northland, New Zealand, he introduced a neighbourhood health care home model, strengthening community based care and improving access for underserved populations.

Chris has a long standing commitment to reducing health inequalities, with a particular focus on ensuring fair access to high quality care and improving outcomes for all communities. His experience across clinical practice, system leadership, and place based transformation continues to shape his work in driving integrated, person centred care across the South West Peninsula in his new role as Chief Place and Transformation Officer/Chief Medical Officer.
