Paul has over 30 years of experience working in roles across the whole spectrum of the NHS, from primary care through to specialised services. The last 10 of those years he spent as a Chief Executive working first in Dudley and then across the Black Country as a whole, which he led through the covid pandemic.
Paul also led the development of one of the national NHS vanguard new care model programmes which was a precursor to the current neighbourhood health model. He is a professional accountant and holds a masters in leadership and organisational development.
Paul’s current role is Director of Neighbourhood Health at the Department of Health and Social Care.
