Dr Nick Thayer is Head of Policy at the Company Chemists Association covering contract and service development, workforce, and professional practice. He is an honorary lecturer at Keele University and an honorary Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham.

After graduating as a pharmacist from Keele University, Nick went to work for Well Pharmacy. Following several roles with the company, Nick moved to work for Community Pharmacy Cheshire and Wirral LPC before joining the CCA in 2020. Nick has previously completed a Masters in Community Pharmacy Public Health Services and has obtained a Doctorate in Pharmacy Practice
