Paul Corris played a significant role in developing lung transplantation as a clinical treatment for patients with end stage lung disease. His clinical and research excellence has been widely recognised, including election to presidencies of the ISHLT and BTS and a lifetime achievement and Fellowship award from the ERS. He is a Fellow of Green Templeton College, Oxford University.
